Birch Trail Resort is located on the beautiful Amber Lake, a 785 acre lake with a max depth of 21 feet.
Known for it's incredible musky fishing, deamed a Class "A" Musky lake, Amber Lake is also a hot spot for pike, walleye, panfish - especially our large crappie and bass. Private, quiet and not a lot of boat traffic, this location has proudly produced many prized fish wall trophies.

That's me, Dawn Plankey, owner and operator of Birch Trail Resort. I have been coming to the Wisconsin Northwoods area since I was a child. The fond memories, amazing scenery and wonderful people are what drew me back. As a start to a new chapter in my life, I purchased this resort and am excited to embark on this new adventure with you.
